Get started
Ask your AI assistant for food from an Austin restaurant, and it places the order for curbside pickup. An Autolane vehicle collects the order and brings it to you. You add Autolane to your assistant once, link your phone, and after that you just ask.
What you need
- An assistant from the list below.
- An invite. Autolane Courier is invite-only for now: your mobile number has to be on the invite list. Join the waitlist.
- A drop-off address in Austin, and a restaurant, cafe or bakery that offers curbside pickup.
Add Autolane to your assistant
Every guide uses the same address:
Link your phone
The first time your assistant connects, it opens an Autolane page called “Link your phone”.
- Enter your mobile number.
- Enter the 6-digit code Autolane texts you.
- Go back to your assistant.
That’s it. You stay linked as long as you use Autolane at least once every 30 days.
Then just ask
Order two breakfast tacos from a taco shop on South Congress for curbside pickup, and have Autolane bring them to 500 W 2nd St.
Your assistant checks that Autolane can make the delivery and shows you the time and the $1.99 delivery fee. You pay the fee with a secure Stripe link, and pay the restaurant for the food as usual. Ask “where’s my delivery?” at any time.
Good to know
- Autolane delivers from 8 AM to 8 PM, for orders up to 90 minutes ahead.
- Autolane picks up from restaurants and other prepared-food stores, not grocery stores, pharmacies or bars.
- Autolane can’t deliver alcohol, tobacco, vapes or anything that needs an ID check at pickup.
- You get texts about your delivery. Reply STOP to turn them off.
